    Introduction

From today, your team can describe the offer they want in the AI tools they already use and MonetizationOS builds it. Learn more and sign-up here

Most publishers have far more types of reader than ways for them to pay. The commercial team usually knows what it would try next, whether that’s a bundle for one audience or a win-back offer for lapsed subscribers, but each one takes time and people to set up, so the list just gets longer.

The MonetizationOS MCP is built to shorten it. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, the open standard that lets AI assistants connect to other software and work inside it. Once it’s connected, your team can run MonetizationOS from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini or any other tool by describing what they want, without clicking through a console to set it up.

What you can do with the MOS MCP

  • Set up your MonetizationOS account and work through onboarding and implementation.
  • Build or update a strategy anywhere in your monetization mix through Experiences, which decide what each visitor, human or machine, sees and is offered.
  • Build or update the offers those experiences serve.
  • Ask it to explain the access and entitlement logic you’ve set up, and document what it has built, so you can always see what changed.

That last one tends to get overlooked. Configuration has a habit of drifting away from whatever document was meant to describe it, so being able to ask what happens to a lapsed subscriber who arrives from search, and get a straight answer, is useful even when you’re not changing anything.

How it works

You add the MonetizationOS MCP to your AI tool using the endpoint we send you when you’re approved, and sign in with your MonetizationOS account. From then on, when you describe a change, the assistant works through MonetizationOS to build it, including the offer, the experience and the rules around who sees it, then tells you what it built, so it can be live the same day.

Your offers and rules stay in MonetizationOS rather than inside the AI model. So every change is made in one place, under the guardrails your team has set, and you can move to different models without rebuilding anything. The MonetizationOS platform is still there for anyone who’d rather work in the console.

What’s behind it

Everything the MCP builds runs on MonetizationOS, the same platform managing access, offers and pricing for human and machine visitors at Adams Publishing Group, The Independent and WEHCO Media.

camelCase Collective, one of our implementation partners, is already using it in client work:

“Legacy paywall tools lock your monetization logic in a clunky dashboard. With the MOS MCP, our agents ship it straight from the codebase, so an idea from a client meeting can be live and testable the same day, and our time goes into the strategy rather than opening support tickets or navigating setup screens.” - Hayden Cleek, Founder, camelCase Collective

How to get access

Sign up to the waitlist at monetizationos.com/mcp. You’ll need a MonetizationOS account to use the MCP, so if you don’t have one yet, set one up now and you can start as soon as you’re approved.

Where this goes next

Today, you describe an offer and the MCP builds it. Next, it'll help you decide what to try and who to show it to. MonetizationOS was built from day one so that agents could plug straight in and act, and the MCP is the first place you’ll see that. Agentic monetization starts here.
